Climate Crisis Drives Rebellion is a magazine featuring two typefaces hand-painted and developed by myself. A major part of this project was the creation of two working typefaces, ‘OhGouache’ and ‘TypeActivist’. Inspired by hand-painted protest activism signs, the typefaces were painted traditionally then vectorised. ‘OhGoauche’ is expressive with themes of optimism, while ‘TypeActivist’ is serious and confident. Both typefaces contrast each other and are symbolic of two very different reactions to climate change.
